KHALWAT
This is not really an issue of constitutional law. If the matter of Khalwat is legislated as a crime under our Penal Code, then no one is exempted and all Malaysians are legally obliged not to commit Khalwat- both Muslims and Non-Muslims.In my considered opinion- I perceive these two issues are really one in reality- that ancient argument of morality againt the law.But the morality argument raises other provocations- Whose conception of morality? To assume that our perception of morality prevails over all the many others,is evidence that our minds have been institutionlized by some philosophy or religion. One should not expect others to live by their own personal moral codes Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
