LIGHT ON THE HORIZON

US researchers said Wednesday they are able to selectively erase memories from mice in a laboratory, raising hopes for the numerous human memory afflictions from post-traumatic stress syndrome, bitter memories of divorces can one day be cured.

The new technique, is at a very early stage, could be applied one day to the human brain to erase traumatic memories, bitterness, unresolved anger,unforgiveness,deep-set fears, while leaving all other memories unaffected.

All those out there who have bitter memories of the past - dont silently plan on committing suicide- there is light appearing on the horizon.

IS THERE ANYTHING IN YOUR PAST THAT YOU WANT TO FORGET?

THE FOOLISH PRINCE

All that it took for the marriage to lose its rainbow colours ,was a foolish confession made on air for the whole world to hear. That man was Prince Charles and he admitted to infidelity on TV- a grave indiscretion which would lead to even graver consequences. The Prince had just committed an unpardonable and foolish mistake-offending a ladies sense of pride and dignity in full view of the public. And there was going to be a response.

It is unimaginable that a man born to such nobility, exposed to all the charm, aristocracy and best learning institutions of the whole world was capable of such indiscretion. Her response? She distanced herself and responded foolishly too. Charles admission triggered off the social life of the Princess of Wales- soon she responded by her own admission of "infidelity"- on TV too. Later the Royal Princess was seen in hotel lobbies and beachside in bikinis with another man- Dodi. The Fairytale wedding had taken a course for the worse. The end was tragic. Her grave was drenched in torrents of British tears. Why did it have to end this way?

Be doubly careful with provocations. Many provocations come across wrapped up in humble tones as admissions and confessions. Vijay- The Midnight Owl.
