"I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the directionof his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined,he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours." - Henry David Thoreau

TO DONATE
God spoke to me this morning and told me to lay up my treasures in heaven. And so I have decided to go back to the Mission Field.I have already given up all my earthly possessions, my Car, house, watches, fine clothes but this Blue Diamond Brooch worth RM20,000-I just do not who to give it away to.Does somebody out there need a Blue Diamond Brooch? IT IS TRUE!!
It is regretabble but exagerration is part and parcel of life.We all have done it before. Before the next guy finishes his story,we immediately butt in and contribute our side of the story- the bigger fish that got away. This has nothing to do with facts and figures but rather our egos. Because if there is one thing that we cannot tolerate- it is to be outclassed by other people. And so tales are conceived and born. The amazing thing is this-none of the exagerrations have been thought out in detail- its all spontaneous. And some are really skillful. And the additions and subtractions are weaved in effortlessly. Those who engage in this skill are advised to tone down.because one is usually not aware of the other person.Like the person who narrated to a small group, how the Twin Towers collapsed on Sept 11 2001.He went on and one-the billowing fire, fleeing crowd and the collapsing building. He only toned down when someone told him that Vijay was in New York City that day.

RESPONSES
Our emotional temperaments can be traced to how well or badly we deal with the inevitable conflicts that confront us in society. The common ways that people deal with them-trying to avoid all conflict altogether, getting emotional and lashing out, responding in a sly and manipulative way are all somewhat conterproductive in the long run.In fact it makes the situation worse.True, there will always be some Jackass somewhere who ruins our day. The best way to respond in situations like this is to offer no response. But if the other person is in a lower position than you can talk firmly or give a whipping. But with superiors however, you must take a different approach. In all situations, try to maintain your mental balance.Once you lose that balance and give an emotional response- you have lost.
