DO YOU AGREE?

Do you agree with the statement made here- Trust no one,Deceive everyone? True- this world is a harsh place to live and everyone has to be on their guard to avoid being taken in by somebodys bullshit.Definitely we need a shield to prevent someones filthy crap from landing on us.I would love to hear your personal practical philosophy on how to handle life.

ATTENDING CHURCH

This morning I attended a church of a Protestant background. The message was okay but monotanous, uninspiring and was more suited for hardcore criminals, Malaysian politicians and Bankers. In my considered opinion- the sermon content was 20% Scriptures from the Bible,30% personal opinion, 10% experience and the rest of it was plain Protestant Crap.

I tried to pay attention and give my due respects since I was in church, but there was this guy who sat besides me and started dozing off. His head began to lean on my shoulders and as I looked at him, only then I realized that he was a drug addict. I am a superstitious person- was God putting me to the test? Was he an angel in disguise?I was reluctant to push him away. He woke up but then crumpled on my shoulders again. This went on for a few times. When the preaching was over I left during the closing prayer for my teh tarik at the churchs canteen. I went away from church with a silent prayer for him " I pray that somebody will help him." While driving back, it occured to me that all the other people probably went home with the same prayer also- "I hope somebody will help him".

THE TV INTERVIEW

This morning I was invited to a TV interview with AVANI. When I arrived there were other panelists - one from the Trade Union, a Wanita Umno from some cawagan and MIC Wanita Chief. There were also lots of students from the IIU.( International Islamic University).

The big question was this- why are the races still so divided here in Malaysia? Everybody contributed their political niceties- all the usual crap about what a wonderful example Malaysia is to the whole world. I spoke out my mind this morning and I am regretting it now. The truth is this - that we are still a long way from racial integration. Everybody know that but very few want to comment for fear the reprisals. I wanted to keep my views to myself but today i lost the battle for self control. I told them what I felt- " The Malaysian Gooverment is being hypocritical."
