IT'S TIME FOR TEA

Never raise your voice at others, especially in a public place. It's humiliating, offensive, obnoxious, atrocious and certainly not meritorious-and a tell tale sign of hidden domestic issues-which all surfaces in due time. There is only one breed that resorts to such terror when proving their point- the Chimpanzee. Remember, the other person is not deaf. They can hear very well-so tone down your scathing voice. True, that idiot made the blunder and your blood is boiling. Go for your tea immediately, and linger a little.Nothing calms down the soul as this heavenly brew.(Never resort to alcohol to relieve stress. Its very dangerous.)Now slowly get back to office. You will see the picture differently and maybe, feel a tinge of remorse for your outburst earlier.(Of course, if you can-take a day off,go home, wear your sarong and watch Astro). THE MISSING EAR

PASIR PUTEH: She did not like the woman who was always taking her mother out for karaoke sessions. The businesswoman, in her 20s, had enough of it on Saturday and confronted the other woman at an eatery in Kampung Wakaf Lichong here.
They fought and the businesswoman bit the ear of the other woman in the incident which took place at about 1am on Saturday. The older woman from Bachok was with friends when the businesswoman arrived and started hurling accusations at the other woman, who is in her 40s.The quarrel took a turn for the worst and the two women started screaming at each other. The younger woman then grabbed the older woman by the neck and bit off part of her left ear.
Patrons in the shop managed to separate them and called the police. The younger woman then fled. The victim, realising that part of her bloodied ear was missing, searched the floor. She found the bitten-off part and rushed to a private clinic in Kota Baru. She was referred to Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia for doctors to re-attach the ear.
Police have detained the businesswoman for causing serious injury.District OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Kamal Zainal confirmed the incident.

MRS.RIGHT

Many times people have asked me the type of lady I am looking for. This was perplexing for me as I really did not have any particular woman in mind.Outgoing? Conservative? Intellectual? Chinese,Indian, tribal?Career woman, housewife?Shy & reserved? A wild donkey? Well, finally I came across the perfect woman-and I am sure beyond a reasonable doubt, that this is the kind woman I want to marry. Vijay & Mrs.Vijay.The Midnight Owl

CHOOSING COMPANY

By the time we are in our 30's, one is well aware of our own defects, though it can be carefully concealed from the public eye. Then maybe its time to break the vicious pattern. If you are miserly by nature, forever counting your dimes and pennies in the solitude of your own room,or forever worried with your bank balance,-associate with the liberal and carefree. In any religious belief, only the generous attain to greatness.Associate with the generous then, and they will infect you, loosening everything that is tight and restricted in you.If you are the gripeful sort, gravitate to the cheerful sort.If you are inclined to isolation, presurre yourself to befriend the extrovert- but keep them at arms length, for generally they are known to be flirts.

Never associate with those who reflect your own defects- they will reinforce everything that holds you back and make you worse.Be friendly with people who emit positive energies. Make this a rule of life and you will benefit more than all the therapies in the whole world. The Midnight Owl

CAUTION!

Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in Heaven. Therefore when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you...But when you do a charitable deed do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
