THE MISTAKEN MASTERS
All the great Oriental spiritual masters said the same thing. There is Perfect Harmony in nature and one must learn to live without disrupting this Harmony. Most notable of this teaching springs from Taoism and Zen Buddhism. But there was one terrible limitation in their conclusion which was solely based on empiricism.Because they spent a lot of time in peaceful monastries, enveloped in an almost heavenly quiteness-they mistakenly felt that all nature out there is peaceful too. They did not notice that there were poisonous plants and infectious insects out there, ferocious beasts that can tear their victims in pieces and eat them raw with their blood, snakes that strike with deathly venom.Life on this earth is full of dangers and conflicts. It is wiser to face this fact than to naively look in the opposite direction.Journey well,my Friend.
