FRIENDSHIPS OF PROVIDENCE

In life some Friendships are formed by ourselves due to our particular station in life but some relationships are provided by Providence. If you don't have any friends from Royal backgrounds,its because Providence has not offered you that opportunity. I have refrained from using the phrase God because if the friendship goes bad, then we won't be using this phrase "God" to interpret our situation.Providence is better, but that would mean that God has no control over Providence and who you meet is all random chance out there. Too bad if you made a wrong choice in Friendship.

The people who surround you today- are they accidentally in your life or the work of Providence?? Be cautious about Friendships, for many books could be written about friendships that turned sour and friends who fell out of favour.Some Friendships that you have now are provided by Providence,and if lost it's gone forever. Even in situations of reconciliation, the orginal substance and Spirit of that Friendship cannot be restored wholly.The wound may heal, but the scars remain. Be cautious with your Friendships or it can be altered subtly, subconciously but noticeably.

BEING INQUISITIVE

Its never a great idea to be preoccupied with whats in another persons backyard. Being Inquisitive is the word in English- "Ke Poh Chi" in Hokkien.Leave others alone unless they show signs of needing assistance. But for many Malaysians this is something difficult to adhere to.Peeping through windows and eavesdropping on someones conversation,or trespassing on someones privacy seems to be okay for many.In the village, everyone knows what is going on with the neighbours family- even though they are not on talking terms.We already have more than what we can manage in our own backyard so there is no need for us to peep over our neighbours shoulder.It is not just discourteous, its uncouth and a sure sign of ill breeding.Kindly remove your nose from that place immediately.

THE 3 MALAYSIAN PASTORS

One day three Pastors decided to get together for some fellowship.One Pastor said, since God has brought all of us together, why don't we just open up to each other? The two others thought it was a great idea.The second Pastor added, "As a sign of genuine brotherliness, sincerity and openess why don't we confess our secret sins to each other? The other two nodded in silent agreement.

The first Pastor began "I have this private sin and lately it is becoming a problem.I started with sipping some whisky but now I consume half a bottle of Jack Daniels every night.I have carefully concealed this habit and nobody knows anything about it, and I dont feel guilty because the first miracle Jesus did was to turn plain water into alcohol.Just before the Sunday preaching, I need 2 neat shots of that stuff.

The second Pastor continued, Lately I have been having an affair with this lady in our church.We have been seeing each other and lately got quite intimate.My wife and the church know nothing about it.Anyway I dont think thats serious because even King David did it.

The third Pastor suddenly looked downcast and said." Gentlemen, my secret sin is gossip and after what I have heard today, I just cant wait to get out from here!!!"
