FIRST CLASS CRAP!!

[ I received this crap on Raya Day. Grrrrrrrr....!!!]

My name is Miss Mercy Kerrone, single and never married Age 25 years, i am from Cote D'Ivoire in west Africa and presently residing in the N’dioum refugee camp here in Senegal where i am seeking political asylum due to the civil war that was fought in my country. The Refugee camp is control by a Reverend father, i use his computer to send you this email when he is less busy in his office.

My late father DR STEVE KERRONE was chairman managing director ( STEVE INDUSTRIAL COMPANY LTD), in ABIDJAN the economy capital of my Country, and he was also the personal adviser to the former head of state before the rebels attacked our house one early morning and killed my mother and father in a cold blood. It is only me that is alive now and i managed to make my way to a nearby country Senegal where i am living now as a refugee.

I would like to know more about you. Your likes and dislikes, your hobbies and what you are doing presently. i like to meet loyal, understanding, sincere, trustful, kindly and friendly person. I hate lies, criminals, terrorists, unfaithful person, person with no respect to human being. Attached here is my picture, Hoping to hear from you soonest.

DELUSIONS

How many people do we meet everyday who claim that all their dreams came true?Too often we only hear of heartaches of people whose desires never came to fulfilllment.I do not believe that all our dreams will come true in this life.We have to observe lifes harsh realities as it is and not as we like to colour them .Maybe some dreams come to pass- but that too not without effort.Nothing comes easy-even royalty have their own problems.    The Midnight Owl

THE SAME OLD CRAP!!

There are no realistic exits from quarrels. Far better to avoid it in the first place.Leave petty arguments and useless quarrels for the fools. Undoubtledly some have unusual charisma for it. I think it was Blaise Pascal who once commented-" Most men live lives of quiet desperation".He was referring to people who were getting into situations in which they could not disentangle themselves. And those who manage to get out,but got badly burned.  The Midnight Owl

INTROSPECTION

Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret:
Do not waste time in protracted wondering " Should I or shouldn't I?" Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate all future happenings. Value your time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing. Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happened was destined to happen only that way. Why cry over spilt milk?
I think all of us have some regrets.Some of it has to do with foolish and thoughtless decisions and others from ill advised responses.This animal like behaviour of lashing out at others.There is only one way out- SELF EXAMINATION. THE RIGHT ENGLISH WORD IS "INTROSPECTION!!"

REFLECTIONS

I have read the Holy Quran, just like the Holy Bible many many times.In fact I read  Quran  usually at midnight and Sunday afternoons.But I still cannot see where it teaches believers to behave like this.In fact, the Holy Quran states that there is no compulsion in religion.To make matters worse, it is the month of Ramadhan.I heard their raving and ranting on the net.Further when the Mentri Besar went to hear these folks out, they showed him no respect at all.Threatening him with a chair and  yelling abuses at him.They were shouting like hell and one guy was screaming on the loudspeaker. Where did they get the strength to shout like that? They were so energetic!!!When you are fasting you are supposed to feel faint and weak.   The Midnight Owl.

DONT BE BITTEN.

The world today has become increasingly competitive and nasty.In every sphere of human activity, there  seems to be conflicts.Perhaps it is most obvious in politics and business. The domestic conflicts are usually concealed.It is more prudent to appear composed to the outside world.Most troubling are those who look peaceble but tend bite a chunk off us at a most unexpected second. The culture may deny this reality and promote a gentler picture, but dont be deceived. The Midnight Owl

NEW YORK CITY

THIS IS ME ON TOP OF CHRYSLER BUILDING, NEW YORK CITY.WHEN I PLAYED THE HARMONICA FROM THERE, THE WHOLE CITY CAME TO A STANDSTILL LISTENING TO MY MELODIOUS MUSIC. IT WAS SUCH A MOVING EXPERIENCE FOR ME.

P.S. YOU SEE THE TWIN TOWERS IN THE DISTANCE? THE YEAR WAS 1999.I COULD NEVER HAVE GUESSED THAT THIS IS THE  2ND LAST TIME I WILL SEEING THE TWIN TOWERS.I SAW IT A YEAR LATER WHILE ON A HELICOPTER RIDE ABOVE THE CITY.
