 NEW YEAR GREETINGS. REMEMBER DONT ALWAYS FRET AND TALK ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS.AFTER SOME TIME- PEOPLE JUST GET FED UP WITH IT. EVEN THE BEST OF POSITIVE SPEAKERS HAVE THEIR SEASONS OF PRIVATE GRIEF.THEY JUST DONT SHOW IT.IF THEY DID- YOU WOULD  BE MORE DEPRESSED.

A QUESTION.

 This is Penang Street in Penang. I usually stay in a hotel nearby.I asked this man what they had for breakfast.- and his agitated response?? " What kind of question that??? We have rava  thosai,mavee thosai, vengayo thosai,  veetee thosai, chennai thosai, muteh thosai, masala thosai.........I really regretted asking that little question!!!"

The house I grew up in Penang looks something like this. When it rained heavily, the house would leak in a dozen places and sometimes centipedes anmd  millipedes would crawl in.OOOOOHH!!!! Thse Good Old Days!!!

BROKEN IN

The office of lawyer Derek Fernandez, who is acting for Catholic weekly Herald, was broken into in Petaling Jaya this morning.Fernandez, a Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) councillor, said it was a professional job as they had sprayed black paint at a closed circuit camera before breaking in."They used heavy duty equipment to break the grill...."

Looks like someone out there really loves God and is determined to defend His Name. May God bless his efforts.       VJ

THE REALITY

In the jungles, there is no justice. The stronger animals will single out the weaker animals and go for the kill.They are described as Predators. Same so with humans. Its somewhat dangerous to be perceived as a weak person in society.Like the neighbourhood bully. And in the playground, where the unassuming child attracts the attentions of the  ill bred ruffian.There is a lot of blood spilled here in Malaysia- by unseen hands ........powerful  hands.Even the heavens seem to be silent when the victims suffer horrific deaths.If you cant stand  up for yourself, than learn something from nature. Nature has endowed some creatures with the gift of   camaflouge to become  invisible before their hunters- they just blend in. Better to step back than to be chewed.

The truth is often avoided because it is ugly and unpleasant, and makes people uncomfortable.Never appeal to truth and reality unless you are prepared for the anger that surfaces when facades are peeled off.In exposing anyone,you will whip up emotions that can't be described by any language used by the human species. In reality,those dark emotions are indescribable.So far better,to feign ignorance,and resist the temptation to take a closer look at skeletons in anothers closet.It is the height of wisdom to avoid stepping on anybodys toes.Ignore this advice at your own peril.

MISS VIETNAM

I bought this beauty in Vietnam and  hung it  in the main hall.I avoid the main hall during midnight as sometimes I feel her staring at me. One rainy day, I heard her calling my name.I swear that I am telling the truth. I quickly rushed in and locked the bedroom door. The Midnight Owl.

HARSH REALITY

All religions teach that God made a beautiful world. But if we take a closer look- that is a load of crap- with a capital "C". Some are endowed with beauty, others are not. The peacock and the toad are not made equal in beauty.Neither is a horse with a cockroach.Things are beyond comprehension on this planet.Same applies to the human species.But come to think of it. You are unique.There is nobody in the whole universe who looks exactly like you and possess your kind of temperament or disposition.Of course, you have a dark side too- which nobody knows. But  that's the nature of things.There is only one alternative- acceptance of ourselves and live life as you see best.There is no need to enlarge your nose, or sport a huge bushy mustache or tattoo your buttock to portray a macho image to gain acceptance.You are you.
