CREDIT CARDS, CHARGE CARDS & DEBIT CARDS

CREDIT CARDS-The issuing Bank will pay on your behalf first and bill you later. There is no such thing as " free for life". When you pay the minimum amount you are liable to finance charges.Late payment charges are another thing.

CHARGE CARDS- when you swipe your card, you must pay the FULL AMOUNT when the Bank bills you otherwise there will be a high Late Payment Interest.

DEBIT CARDS-  when you swipe this card, it automatically deducts from your Bank Account.Rather than withdrawing cash at an ATM and paying for stuff, you just dont have to carry the required cash.     Good Luck.

For one thing, you become noticeable to others, and sometimes the envious eye.And as so often happens, if it is not others who bring us down, unforseeable circumstances change the tide.Flying in dignity one day, bruised and broken the next .Suddenly, our reputation itself is marred and before we know it we are lying in the dust.There are only  choices.Determine to get back on your feet or wallow in self pity and isolating yourself from everyone.Your wings are broken and it takes time to heal. April 14, 2010 S399 A CPC :REPORT OF CENTRAL BANK ON CURRENCY NOTE OR COIN

April 14, 2010Where in any criminal proceeding it is necessary to decide whether a currency note is or is not forged, a certificate signed by the Governor of the Central Bank or any Officer authorised in writing by him in that behalf that he is satisfied by personal examination that such note or coin is or is not forged shall be sufficient evidence that such note or coin is or is not forged , as the case may be , and neither the Governor nor any officer of the bank shall be cross-examined with regard to the contents of such certificate unless the Court orders otherwise.
In matters of counterfeit currency, a certificate from the Central Bank stating that the currency is or is not fake is conclusive proof -- not of any other expert. Don't make a fool of yourself by bringing a money changer from India to the court.

The above is an embarassing piece of legislation.In the author's view it ought not to be legislated at all. There are other provisions already in existence covering family matters. "son" and "daughter" respectively, include a male and female child adopted by the deceased under the provisions of any written law relating to the adoption of children for the time being in force and also the son or daughter of the deceased en ventre sa mere at the date of the deceased.
The words en ventre sa mere refers to a child which is still in its mothers womb- an unborn child.From a legal view, the unborn child can also be considered a beneficiary.  Best Regards- Vijay

SEXUAL HARASSMENT- S509 PC

ARE THERE ANY LAW IN MALAYSIA TO DEAL SPECIFICALLY WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT CASES ?

No. There is only one law in existence that comes close to dealing with the issue of sexual harassment in Malaysia - Penal Code, section 509.
The Penal Code, section 509 provides that :
"Whoever, intending to insult the modesty of any women, utters any words, makes any sound or gesture or exhibit any object, intending that such word or sound shall be heard, or such gesture or object shall be seen by such woman, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 5 years or with fine, or with both".

 Recently I was invited to an anniversary dinner of  a  certain company. There was a free flow of wine and a 10 course dinner.
