CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATIONS

It can be a terrible thing when people you trust betray your secrets. That can be a bitter pill to swallow. But sometimes the things we hold in become a burden and we need a Confidante-somewhere we can pour out our inner burdens. But there is a risk. If the confidante turns out to be a Jackass, your reputation is smeared and the people avoid you like a plague. The safest Confidante is one who is dumb.
Did you know Lawyers are legally prohibited from revealing Solicitor- Client communications?

PP v Haji Kassim [1971) 2 MLJ 115 at p. 116
" The only relevant position in our Evidence Ordinance excluding professional confidences is Sect 126, which states no Advocate & Solicitor shall at any time be permitted, except with his clients express consent, to disclose any communication made to him ...this privilege does not protect professional disclosures made to clergy or doctors.."

But the problem begins when some Criminal tells his lawyer- "Yes' I did it"-now the lawyer cant tell anyone else.
