DINNER WITH DR. EDWARDS.

There are a few people whom Providence puts across your path. One of them is definitely Dr. Edwards. He dropped by this evening unexpectedly and took me out for steam boat dinner and we had a very long chat. Once upon a time we were colleagues at Binary Business College. This Dr. just flows with encouraging words. When I met him during the days of Binary- he was lecturing on Management and I was lecturing on Business Law. But then we parted ways when he got a better offer and I was called to the Malaysian Bar.

In life, it is important that we get acquainted with the right people. Not everybody is suited to be your friend. Indeed some friendships may do you more harm than good.If you find that any relationship with anybody is stressing you and sapping your strength- dont hesitate- reduce contact or if necessary - cut ties.( I am not saying this in the context of marriage). Within the context of marriage, some issues need to be sorted out.

But outside the context of matrimonial union- tell them to take a hike. After some reflection you will come to a realization that you really dont need these "friends" around you. What the world really needs are more Dr. Edwards.God bless his soul.Vijay

Hello Sir

I love steamboat too you know. No oil and that is what I like. I know of a steamboat shop near where I stay. It is called Pulau Ketam Steamboat. Pulau Ketam is a fishing village and I think the steamboat stuff comes from there.

In order to have many varieties they stretched the fish balls into long strips like white fat noodles. I wonder what is next.

This is one of the marketing tools.

The next time you go for steamboat again do think of me and I will be there. Live to eat.
